INDEPENDENT LOCAL FLORISTS WITH SAME DAY FLOWER DELIVERY
The independent, local florists at The Bloom Factory in Eastbourne began their journey back in 1966 with a garden centre and have been innovating and developing ever since. They now have a wholesale nursery, offer landscaping services, have local flower shops and have recently opened a flower café, and have an outstanding reputation in the local community. With a passion for hand tied flowers, our local florists are proud to be part of the BloomLocal network and offer same day delivery throughout Eastbourne and the surrounding areas. All of our Eastbourne florists specialise in providing seasonal flowers, but also have a range of bouquets and floral arrangements suitable for all occasions and budgets, from wedding flowers to funeral flowers and everything in between. Our same day flowers are delivered directly from your local florist in water to ensure lasting freshness and reduce wastage. Our local florists are passionate artisans who care deeply about nature and the environment which is why they are part of BloomLocal and offer same day delivery. By focusing on locally sourced flowers, and hiring locals we are committed members of the local community and passionate about providing fresh, hand tied flowers throughout Eastbourne and the surrounding areas. Our local florists are also extremely knowledgeable about the best places to visit and the best restaurants in town, and are happy to share their knowledge to help boost the community.
This year we are launching a spectaculat selection of affordable next day flowers. Next day flower delivery in Eastbourne is available from a local florist near you, and all bouquets are crafted by local florists using fresh, hand tied flowers. Our next day flowers are delivered from a local flower shop, we don't use warehouses, and we may occasionally use a courier.
WHAT ABOUT EASTBOURNE?
Eastbourne was originally a fishing village which became a tourist resort, and as the UK’s sunniest place it is easy to see why! It is located in East Sussex and has a spectacular 19th century Grande parade. The 3 mile long promenade is home to Eastbourne Pier which was built in 1870 and its boardwalk lead to a variety of excellent local attractions. Visitors can also use the original Camera Obscura, a Victorian projector with 360 degree views of the seafront. A short walk from town is the impressive Beachy Head, which is the highest chalk sea-cliff in Great Britain. Despite its fame, there is a little known fact about these cliffs, the German philosopher and social scientist, Friedrich Engels, requested that his ashes be scattered from the top into the Channel. Our local florists would like to highlight some lesser known local attractions and some of their favourite restaurants in the area in the hopes of building stronger community links and enhancing the town’s reputation.
LOCAL ATTRACTIONS
It is perhaps little surprise that our florists chose this stunning local attraction, but these gardens are the centrepiece of the Promenade and well worth exploring. Featuring plants, shrubs and flowers from around the world which thrive in the town’s mild climate, these award winning gardens give a vibrant splash of colour to the seafront.

This Grade II listed building is one of the best examples of a small Victorian Theatre in the UK and was designed by Henry Currey. It was built in 1884 and improved by the celebrated Architect Frank Matcham in 1903. It’s a real local gem.

A number of ‘big name’ artists are displayed in this eclectic gallery which features over 4000 pieces. It was originally founded in 1923 and moved to its current location in 2009.
